I think the interview was good and funny. It presented Trump's political ideas in a funny way for the public to understand and laugh at. Those ideas are the controversial points of the Presidential Candidate's campaign, such as the wall he wants to build on the Mexican border. The interviewer asked about how he will do it and Trump responded with a question that made the interviewer to answer the it. The interviewer gave him the solution with an analogy of a game in which Mexicans would end up building the wall.
ReplyDeleteLikewise, we can have understood that Trump's policies wouldn´t be totally credible for people, because them ideas are mixed with the egocentrism that characterizes him. I don´t like Donald Trump, because he represents everything that is not "good" in political sciences. He is egocentric and believes that only with his fortune he can manage to govern a country.
Hello! I really liked this interview of J.K Rowling, I had no idea that this famous writer is doing charity work, I think it's very nice that she works with children who live in orphanages.
ReplyDeleteI have been shocked by the writer's goal, when she said that "the goal is to close all orphanages", because the 80% of the children living there have at least one living parent who can take care of they. While she said it is the best solution for parents to take care of their children, I think it is very dangerous to leave those children in charge of people who don't care about them or want to do. On the other hand, I think that would close the doors to many families who want to adopt those children to give them a better life.
The video is about an interview of Donald Trump to Donald Trump, that is the reason of the name of the video “Donald Trump interviews himself in the mirror” but, who actually asks the questions is the interviewer Jimmy Fallon. Since the begining of the interview, Jimmy costumed as Trump, started to joke with some of the main political ideas that Trump had said in others media, for example, the second question asked of Jimmy Fallon to Trump was about the wall he wants to build between Mexico and United States, and for evade the question, Trump makes that the interviewer responds, who answered that he will challenge mexican people to play yenga and when they will have finished the big wall, he will say “I do not want to play anymore”. In my opinion, the video is totally stupid, showing us the kind of man who is governing the most important country in the world. I think behind jokes there are many painful truths like xenophobic thoughts.

First of all, I want to say that I laughed a lot with the show. The interviewer's jokes on Trump's personality were really funny; but, besides the video being entertaining, I would have liked to hear jokes about the policies he will implement in the United States. It is true that the interviewer dealt with the controversial topic of building a wall between the States and Mexico, but he focused on making jokes about the gestures of the interviewees instead of analysing the effects of the policies mentioned. It is important to educate people on issues related to policies, and what a better way to do so than explaining them in a comical way Therefore, I think the interviewer should use a humorous approach to go into the important ideas that Trump wants to put into action in the country and its consequences inside and outside the country.
ReplyDeleteHi! Even though I don’t follow Harry Potter book series (just watched the movies) or others works of J.K Rowling, I really enjoyed watching the interview of the author. It was very interesting to know that she is involved with charity, but what really caught my attention was the fact that some of the first things the interviewer said, were that he believes she has been busy finishing the next installment of Harry Potter. To me, it feels like there is some kind of pressure to continue with the series, for example he said “see, now I heard that answer and I thought there’s hope” being persistent to obtain a positive answer from Rowling. I believe that now, she wants to develop her proyect of charity and spread ideas to help children. Also, people should maybe support her into improving her ideas instead of insisting on more HP. Even she said “I feel I’ve wrapped Harry’s story up”.
ReplyDeleteI think the video called Donald Trump interviews himself in the mirror is really funny becouse in the video, Trump interviews his “reflection “ in the mirror while he overreacts some Donald’s expressions as well as they answer the questions with jokes. For example, in the second question Donald asked Jimmy how He would build the “Wall” between Mexico -United States, and He said He would challenge them to the biggest jenga ever, made their build the board and when they’d finished it, he would say “I don’t want to play anymore”.
ReplyDeleteAlthough it let us know few ideas in Donal Trump’s campaing and is very funny, it isn’t hightly informative becouse of the extremely stupid answers, so there are more other ways to get information, such us news and websites.

The video is a Jimy Fallon’s sketch in which he interviews Donald Trump in a humorous way. The host laughs on some of Trumps most characteristic phrases and gestures. Nevertheless, Jimmy Fallon also asked questions about some of the most controversial ideas of the republican candidate, even though the answers were not really serious. For instance, they discussed on what would Trump do in order to create more jobs. In addition to that, Fallon asked him how he would accomplish his promise of build a wall in the States border with Mexico. Although it was a comedy interview, I think it shows the level of the American political debate. Moreover, it reflects the lack of a true candidate for the people to choose. In conclusion, the laughs of the audience allow us to know what we already knew: the situation is a complete joke.

ReplyDeleteI want to talk about the interview to Trump by the presenter Jimmy Fallon, where the last one was dressed like Trump. The main idea of the interview was to talk about the political views of Trump, but in a humoristic way, exaggerating the big ego of him.
The interview coverts a lot of controversial topics, but I think that the interview was really superficial. Despite the funny and superficial tone of the interview I think the answers of Trump revealed the real thoughts of him, for example when he said in a demagogic way that he will ends with all the taxes because they make impossible to create companies or when he said that he would cut down the government spending. To end I think is really bad idea taking the comments of Trump as jokes.
I really think Jimmy Fallon has the funniest tv show, i usually see his videos in youtube and i love it. If i would have the possibility to visit New York i definitely would go to his show. In relation to the interview with Donald Trump i think he is a comic man and almost never answered the question, for example when Jimmy asked how he will create new jobs Donald said that he just gonna do it. In my opinion i can't imagine how Donald Trump will govern, because he needs to create good relation with other presidents and he doesn't looks friendly.
ReplyDeleteHi, I'm Carlos, I will comment on the trump video. I think it's a lot of fun, Jimmy Fallon is a great comedian, but it's clear that trump's views on this interview are very inconsistent. An example is when Jimmy asks how he created jobs? and trump answer only doing them, also mentions that he is rich and knows how to handle business so the country will be well in his government, I think that knowing how to manage a company is not the same as governing a country, we are talking about one of the most important and influential countries of the world, one must have a wider knowledge and not only know about the management of a company, the economy of a country is But also the society and rights of the country are important. Trump in this opportunity did not respond as it corresponded and showed some of its weaknesses to handle united states.

J.k.Rowling talks in the interview about different topics like her books, and the activities that she realizes with children. If we have to resume all the things that she said, we would said that she loves children also tray to make charity work in sight to give them a better life.
ReplyDeleteChildren without home have a difficult live because they can´t have the support or the love that only a family can give. I think exactly the same that J.K.Rowling because the solution is give support to all the family for example grandparents, and uncles with hat they can take care of the minors. This is a good idea because they don’t will have to end in foundations or government organizations where the people don´t take care of them like a person in their family would.
I finally consider that childhood is an important period in the life of a person so that those older people are concerned about the most unprotected is something important. So I believe that people like the author set the example supporting different projects helps to raise awareness within the population.

Hi! I selected the video of J.K. Rowling talks about Harry Potter and More! First I never read books of J.K. Rowling and no catches my attention the saga of Harry Potter, but this video it is good because the video speaks about other topic very interesting. When Rowling talks about orphanages is very important the things she says, for example that the majority of children living in orphanages have parents. I think even if they are the worst parents in the world, always they are necessary for children even for a hug or a kiss. Also I know that the children does not live only love, but for me it is important because it is a component essential for your personal growth.

Hi! First of all I want to congratulation you for your desition of the topics, there both are interesting. I will talk about the J.K. Rowling's interview.
ReplyDeleteThe Harry Potter's writer said in the video that she was out of the screen, not because of the writing of a new book, but she was desappear due to a social project about orphanages "Lumos" who cares about the children's families that don´t have financial's tools for their development.
I think that the position of J.K. Rowling helps her to get on with her project. I strongly think that famous, important or powerfull people must do social things to equilibrate the inequal's actual world. Since you have power, you must do something for the world. Maybe, for these purpose, we all think in espiritual people, saints or church's people like San Alberto Hurtado, Teresa de Calcuta or people who fighted for social rights. But, I think, we are all called to do something for the world wathever were our riches. Everywhere we are able to find annonymous heros.
In my experiencie, I always try to do small details to help other people, maybe not with money, buth with actions that help to give happiness to another person.
Hope to we all start to do it and follow J. K. Rowling!

She told to interviewer she never had given hope to fans in a video for the return of the old characters, this was a hoax video, but she emphasized that she never said never.
ReplyDeleteShe said she had a graphic trigger, she had seen a photo of a child in a cage, and she had felt very ashamed, because when she had seen this she had turned the page, then she had thought "I have to do something about it".
She said she put the name Lumos to her Corporation because of Lumos is a spell in Harry Potter Series for bringing light. She said she was trying to showing what orphanage was doing to children.
She said she thought the better option for children without parents were not the orphanages, she preferred immediate family or a living parent to care for them.

Hi! Both videos you choose were very interesting, but the one i like the most was Trump video.
ReplyDeleteJimmy asked some questions about his proposals and how is going to carry out them.
He asked about the border with the mexicans, so donald ansewer back what would he do, and he said he will challenge mexicans to play jenga, and when they finish preparing the game he will say he dont want to play more. Also, donald told to the intervewer that he was rich and he knows how to run a company, so he will know how to improve the economical situation.
In my personal opinion, this is a topic which you should not use for jokes, because is a serious issue. Also, I belive that the president of an important country like USA have to think in all the world and not only in his own country.
Funny interview. Don’t you think Donald Trump is an amazing character? I do, I believe he is the media entertainment puppet created by himself and then guided by superior influences. Does not it make you think about it? How can a person trust himself so firmly? It is weird. During the interview he answered questions about his next presidential campaign, one of those questions was, “How are you going to create jobs in this country?” and Trump only said that just by doing so. I was really surprised of how people started laughing; it seemed that those words were picked up from a sitcom, it is not funny, no way! They are talking about the future of their country, my God! I thought U.S.A citizens loved their country. I really think he says a lot of unnecessary comments, which sometimes can even be inappropriate, like for example when he said that he was very rich and that he knew about business. Nobody needs to hear that, right?
ReplyDeleteI am actually glad that Donald Trump got to be elected as president now; I think he is going to make America face a crisis again and it will change the current situation. I am tired of seeing EEUU on the top of the world, I think it’s overrated. I would like to see a change in the country and their people.
It is a hilarious interview, where it is possible to see the opinion of Donald Trump in the sketch of Jimmy Fallon as “Donald Trump” (Fallon) making questions to Donald Trump (real). Fallon takes advantage of the known Trump’s ego. The three initial questions were about the presidential debate, making jobs, and about “the mexican wall”. In all of them, Trump managed to answer shortly and with humor.
ReplyDeleteThe fourth question was related with economy, and how to improve it, so Trump said it is necessary to cut government spending, reduce the taxes in order to increase business and, as a result, bringing back jobs.
In summary, Donald trump showned how it will be his government , but he hadn’t any real purposal, just ideas, and his speech was arrogant and violent. Despite it worked surprisingly, we don’t have any idea if he will be able to“make America great again”.
The video talk about a joke interview to Donald Trump in the program “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon”. The main idea is that Jimmy Fallon characterizes Donald Trump to ask him about the centrals ideas of his presidential campaign. Fallon asked him about the economy, specifically on creation of employment, to what Trump said he just doing. Fallon Also asked him the most polemical proposal, the construction of the wall on the border between USA and Mexico. When Fallon asked him about the wall, Donald asked him again what he would do (for the costume of Fallon) and Fallon replied him he challenged to Mexicans to play yenga and when the wall was ending he will say that he doesn’t play anymore.
ReplyDeleteIn my opinion this interview showing the true face of Donald Trump, he is a businessman that want to manage the goverment as a business, forgetting that he won't work with customers, but with citizens. In addition, he have a racist speech that is too dangerous to the society. Consequently, we need to pay more attention to what happens to international level because no doubt his policy will affect us.

Hi! I found both videos very interesting in spite of the characters are very diferent and so are the plot of the interviews. But I want to comment about the second one. It looks like Jimmy Falloon had so much fun characterizing the future president of United States, joking about the main projects of his presidential campain, and making fool of Donald Trump too, for example the exaggeration with the pictures of him, the joke with the hair, etc.
ReplyDeleteI wanted to emphasize about something that really kept my atention. I think is unbelievable the fact that a President (this is directed to any of them) lend itself to these kinds of programs, because i believe that is part of his/her responsability to give a determinated behavior, at least a public one. After all, is his/her choice to be the leader of the country, they have to assume everything that entails. And I agree that Donald Trump is such a special character, thats why im not surprised seeing him on this comedy program,i liked how Jimmy made fun of his projects, like the analogy between yenga and the wall that he wants to built, but i believe that a president cannot be this way, I dont want to sound dramatic or too serious, moreover I liked this type of TV shows, they are hilarious, but i think as a result of this, everyone who watches the interview would take seriousness to his position, to his charge. At least that´s my opinión.
